| All seeds sold require a current seed
analysis test in order to be sold via the seed industry. Each state applies its own rules
to what is legal for commerce within that particular state. In addition to the state rules
and regulations, Federal Seed trade rules and regulations supercede those imposed by the
states for seeds which cross state lines (interstate commerce). |

Though in all cases individual states my apply stricter
requirements, most follow the guidelines established by U.S. Federal Seed Rules. In
addition to state and Federal rules, there are a set of rules adopted by various members
of the American Seed Trade Association, that are in actuality additional
"Industry" standards set to help facilitate trade across state lines
Laboratory Services for
Seeds
All seeds tested are concerned with two primary test results; Basically those
covering the Seed Purity, Seed Germination (See explanations below). All other items
reported by a laboratory are basically derived from these two areas, and further explain
the aspects of quality and dependability concerning one particular seed lot.

To be able to determine the quality of your seeds laboratories use standardized
tests to examine a sample representing a specific lot of seed. This allows them to report
